We divided the mice into four groups. After fasting for 8 hours, they were administered with 0, 0.01, 0.1, or 1 mg/kg body weight of Insumate® and injected intraperitoneally with 4g/kg BW of glucose solution after 15 minutes of the Insumate® treatment. The blood sugar levels of all animals were analyzed at 0, 30, and 120 minutes.
The streptozotocin-induced rats were administered with 0, 26, or 52 mg/kg body weight of Insumate® daily. For all animals, their fasting blood sugar and insulin levels were recorded every week and their HbA1c levels were obtained at 6 weeks.
